Haiti - 2026 World Cup Preparation : In a friendly match, Haiti crushes New Zealand [4-0]

On Tuesday, June 2, 2026, the Grenadiers of Haiti (ranked 83rd in the world) faced the "Kiwis", the New Zealand national team (ranked 85th), in a friendly match at Lockhart Stadium in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The match ended in a resounding 4-0 victory for the Grenadiers.

On Tuesday, June 2nd, 2026, just over a week before the start of the World Cup (June 11-July 19), Sébastien Migné's Grenadiers secured a resounding 4-0 victory over New Zealand's "Kiwi."

After a well-placed assist from Wilson Isidor, Ruben Providence opened the scoring 1-0 for Haiti in the 12th minute with a precise strike. The score remained unchanged until halftime.

At the break, the coach made a triple substitution, bringing on Lenny Joseph (#16) and Frantzdy Pierrot (#20) in attack, and Alexandre Pierre (#12) in goal.

A winning move, as just four minutes after coming on, Lenny Joseph doubled the Grenadiers' lead in the 51st minute, making it 2-0. Frantzdy Pierrot extended the lead in the 62nd minute [3-0], perfectly set up by full-back Carlens Arcus (#2).

Late in the game, Duke Lacroix (#13) (who came on in the 68th minute) joined the party, scoring the fourth and final goal in the 87th minute [4-0].
